We'd like to you to be a part of this fascinating Social Media Week session:

The digital era has catapulted us into a new world of information sharing but we sometimes find ourselves craving the nostalgic days of yore. From handwritten notes passed in homeroom to scribbles on scratches of paper, these tangible “scrapped treasures” have lost their place in our digital lives. Our technology has advanced but we’ve forsaken the simple art of a doodle, a pastime invented by our ancestors in caves ten millennia ago. As we rewire our brains for a digitally connected world, we risk losing the cognitive benefits of doodling and communicating through hand-drawn pictures.

In this panel, we’ll explore how the art of doodling has evolved and reasons why doodling is important for creativity and the brain. We’ll discuss the power of the doodle and how fleeting scribbles can inspire the next Big Idea. We’ll analyze how social media can amplify what was once a picture on a napkin, allowing us to spread visual messages across the globe in real-time. So join us as we discover ways to preserve the art of doodling in a digital society.

Until then, Happy Doodling!
